Value of TOGAF certification

The Open Group Architecture Framework developed the TOGAF certification program for development of enterprise architecture. TOGAF provides the methodologies and tools for assisting in the acceptance, production, use and maintenance in architecture framework. The TOGAF principles are based on an iterative process model supported by best practices and re-usable set of existing architecture assets.

TOGAF qualification can be achieved through – TOGAF Operational Pragmatic 9.1 Combined level 1 and 2, TOGAF Operational Pragmatic 9.1 Level 1, TOGAF Operational Pragmatic 9.1 Level 2 and Bridge Course from TOP 8 to TOP 9.1.

TOGAF Training courses can be undertaken through the Accredited Training Centers of APMG International, who is a partner of ISACA. The TOGAF training course is classroom based or online with exercises based on three case studies including one case study which runs through the whole course dealing with all aspects of Enterprise Architecture. The course is conducted by the Enterprise Architecture professionals who are contributors to TOGAF and who also have ongoing experiences for implementing TOGAF principles in different situations in their enterprises.

TOGAF certified – The certification provides validation that in addition to knowledge and comprehension, the candidate is capable to analyze and apply knowledge of TOGAF.
